Our Purpose
The Family Ministry exists to encourage spiritual growth and provide Biblical training for marriage, parenting and family living.
Our Core Values
- Jesus must have the first place in everything, including family life (Col 1:18).
- Marriage between a man and a woman is a gift from God. God created marriage (Gen 1, Adam and Eve).
- Children are a wonderful blessing from God and a welcome addition to a family (Psalm 127:3).
- Our first ministry is our family and we can't neglect them as we minister to others. (1 Tim. 5:8)
- Parents are the primary and most influential teachers of their children and have been entrusted by God to disciple their children in the training and instruction of the Lord (Deut 6:6-9; Eph 6:1-3).
- Experienced members of the Body of Christ must come alongside families to teach and mentor them (Titus 2).
Pre-marital Counseling
Marriage is the 2nd biggest decision you will ever make in life. (The first is the decision to become a follower of Christ.) It is vital that prepare for the challenges that come in every marriage. Marriage Mentoring

Family Ministry Life Groups
Life Groups are intended for equipping the Saints for the work of the Ministry. During these Life Groups we will discuss topics such as Marriage, Parenting and other Bible principles that strengthen Families and your walk with Christ.
Family Life is a Life Group intended for parents with kids at home. We will discuss life principles that will not only help you on your spiritual walk but will also enhance your ability be a better parent. If you have children enrolled in our KATS Program @ 8:45 then this is a perfect Life Group for you. Family Life is lead by our Family Minister, Lenzy Cornatzer. We meet Sunday Morning at 8:45 in Patio 4A.
Homebuildersis for parents with children of all ages. Designed to promote individual spiritual growth and help parents learn and implement God's perfect plan for marriage and parenting. Homebuilders is lead by Rob Davies and we meet on Sunday morning at 8:45 AM in our Patio 3C.
Engage is specifically for young couples that are either engaged to be married or have been married under 3 years. This class is made up of couple’s aged from 20 – 35. This group is designed to help transition young adults from being single to the married life. Engage will help engaged and newly married life the right way. Engage is lead by our Family Minister Lenzy Cornatzer and you can be a part of this Life Group on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in Chapel 101.
Adventures in Marriage is for married couples in their 30’s – 40’s. This is a class where married couples can engage in conversation about Christ and gain valuable insight as to what the Bible says about marriage and family. A.I.M is lead by John Beauford and currently meets in Patio 2A at 10:00 on Sunday mornings.
C3 is a Life Group for young married couples that have been married for greater than 3 years. C3 stands for Committed Couples for Christ. We are for young couples that are completely sold out to Jesus Christ and are pursuing what His plan is for our lives. C3 is lead by Daryl McDonald and meets on Sunday mornings at 11:30 AM in Patio 4A
Family Matters will equip and deepen your personal walk with Jesus Christ. We will discuss topics such as parenting, marriage, and the tough issues of family life, and address what the Bible says about each of them. Family Matters is lead by our Family Minister, Lenzy Cornatzer and we meet every Wednesday night @ 7:30 in Patio 3C.
Built to Lastis for married couples of all ages. In this Life Group you will be equipped to handle any issue that arises in your marriage. The format for this Life Group is all open discussion which is entended to deepen your faith in God and your love for your spouse. Built to Last meets in Patio 2A every Wednesday night and is lead by Raymond Stephney and Jim Rooker.
Marriage Matters is for married couples of all ages. We maintain a healthy mix of couples that have been married for a fairly short time and those who have been married for multiple decades. It is our intent for the more mature marriages to come alongside the less mature ones resulting in stronger, healthier, more Biblical, lasting marriages for all who participate. Marriage Matters is lead by John Hunter and we currently meet every Wednesday night @ 7:30 in Patio 3B.
