We expect every leader in our ministry:
- To have completed all four classes in Connecting at Crossroads.
- To commit yourself to the standards of holiness, godliness and righteousness as set forth in the Word of God.
- To boldly and regularly share your faith.
- To dedicate yourself to be a spiritual leader worthy of being followed and that you will display a sterling,
Christ-like example before the believers in our fellowship and before a watching world in our community
and wherever you may be during the year.
- To accept the responsibility for the love, care and shepherding of the people who are a part of this fellowship by doing everything within your power to meet their needs.
- To accept the responsibility for the health, growth and maturity of the people of this church and
make every effort to maintain a spirit of love, harmony and unity within this body.
- To accept the role of a servant in helping us accomplish the vision God has given our church, both in this
community and in the world; and to be willing to make any sacrifice and pay any price to
ensure the continued growth of the Kingdom of God.
- To support the programs and ministries of this church through your own life and the lives of those in your
family in every way you possibly can. This includes being present for worship on Sundays and Wednesday nights, participating in Life Groups and being present for special events throughout the year, where leaders are asked to be in attendance. (Exceptions would be if you are sick, have to work or are out of town.)
- To commit yourself to a daily program of personal, spiritual development through regular, systematic
Bible study and prayer and accept the responsibility for the spiritual growth and development
of your family as well.
- To be at least a tither in your giving to our local church, as a matter of record, and be willing to
give beyond the tithe, as you are able, to support other needs and projects as they arise.
- To accept the responsibility for guarding and protecting this fellowship from anyone or anything that would bring dissension and division into it.
- To be in full agreement with the doctrine, structure and mission of our church.
- To work as a team with the other leaders and workers in this church and help us become all God wants us to
be. You will do that best by enthusiastically submitting to and supporting the leadership of our pastor,
elders, staff, and those who are over you in the Lord in your particular area of ministry.
