Crossroads Christian Church Family of Praise
The Family of Praise exists to glorify the Lord by presenting a pleasing offering to Him with the highest level of excellence possible. We strive to encourage and equip those who have been called by God to the music ministry through spiritual and technical growth.

Through music we share the truth of Jesus Christ. We humbly serve Him leading others into His holy presence.

Adult Choir
The Adult choir is a dynamic group of worshippers made up of men and women from the body of Christ at Crossroads. The purpose of the choir is to use their vocal gifts and talents to usher people into the Presence of God during our corporate worship services. All singers are welcome to join this entry level group. We rehearse every Wednesday evening and sing for Sunday services. The choir also plays an important part in seasonal events and special concerts throughout the year.

No audition is required to be a part of the choir, but everyone must go through a short orientation process and vocal placement. Music reading is not a requirement for this group. Just love the Lord and be willing to praise Him! If you are interested in joining come to our Wednesday night rehearsal to learn more about what we do first hand.

Worship Teams
Worship Teams consist of singers who are committed to a higher musical caliber and are by audition and appointment only. They must be able to retain a specified vocal part and possess the ability to lead as a worship motivator. Singers must be faithful members of the adult choir first and be church members in good standing. Extra rehearsal times are expected and required as announced.

Prospective worship team singers must exhibit spiritual maturity and be in the Word on a daily basis. Auditions are held on a quarterly basis. If you have an interest in being a part of a worship team, please contact the Music Department.

Praise Band
The Praise Band is the backbone of our Sunday morning services, Wednesday evening services and special events. Players must meet certain musical criteria and be auditioned and appointed by our music leaders. Praise band rehearses on Wednesday evenings and are also expected to be available for early morning sound check and extra practices and special events as announced. To join, contact our Music Department, and an interview and audition will be scheduled with the Minister of Music/Praise Band Director.

Orchestra
The orchestra is for adults, college age, and high school students, playing at intermediate music reading levels. The orchestra supports our worship during Sunday morning services, and special events. Rehearsal is Wednesday night in room B of the Music Suite. To join, simply visit one of the rehearsals, and schedule an interview and audition with our Orchestra Director.

Technical Support/Media Team
Our Technical Support Team enables the Word of God and the blessings of music to be enjoyed by everyone. The Media Team offers opportunities for individuals with varied experience levels in sound, lighting, and video. To join, contact our Media Department.
