Upward Football/Cheerleading
Every Child Is A Champion. That’s the motto of Upward Sports, and it's one we take to heart here at Crossroads. Our Upward Football and Cheerleading programs strive to not only teach the sports, but to connect children, parents, coaches and everyone involved to Christ as well. Upward is an excellent building block to get kids involved in athletics, but it’s also a great way to get them involved in the church!
How do I get signed up?
Registration is already underway. If you want your kids signed up stop by a Welcome Center or the Church Office and pick up a brochure and fill it out today.
How much does it cost?
Early registration is only $70.00 for football and $75.00 for cheerleading. July 28th is the early bird deadline and all prices will increase by $10.00 after that. The deadline to register is August 10th at the makeup evaluation, but don’t wait and get that early bird price today!
What is the Evaluation?
This is how Upward keeps the teams fair and even. This is NOT A TRYOUT, and should be one of the most fun days each child has. All the players have to participate in an evaluation, how a child performs won’t alter participation or playing time at all! Evaluations are August 7th and August 10th so be ready.
Where will the practices and games be held?
Right here at Crossroads. We have brand new Upward Football fields located behind the Sports Center.
How do I become a coach or a referee?
We have Coach and Referee Applications located at the Welcome Centers and the Church Office. Or you can just download the form right here. (Place the Coach/Referee Application Here) All coaches and referees must attend one of two coach/ref training sessions here at Crossroads.
- Training Session One: July 31st 8:00am – 1:00pm
- Training Session Two: August 21st 8:00am – 1:00pm
