Soccer
Crossroads Soccer program exist not only to teach kids the basic fundamentals of soccer, teamwork and sportsmanship, but also to connect children, parents, coaches and everyone involved to Christ.
Season Starts
- Practices begin: the week of Monday, 4/2/12
- First Game: Saturday, 4/7/12
- Final Game: Friday, 5/25/12
- Awards Celebration: Tuesday, 5/29/12
Evaluation Days
Saturday, 3/10/12
- Kindergarten Boys/Girls 9 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- 1st – 3rd Grade Boys/Girls 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- 4th – 6th Grade Boys/Girls 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Make-Up Evaluations: Tuesday, 3/24/12
- 6:30pm – 8:00pm
All players must attend an evaluation. This is NOT A TRYOUT. A child’s performance will not alter their playing time.
Where will the practices and games be held?
All Upward Soccer evaluations, practices and games will be held at Crossroads. The fields are located next to the tennis courts by the SportCenter.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $70.00, and early registration begins Sunday 1/8/12. However, the price will increase by $10 after February 12th. The deadline to register for the 2012 soccer season is April 7th.
Shorts are not covered in registration fee, THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED but you have the option to purchase them for an additional $13.
Each player who participates will receive:
- Upward Soccer T-shirt
- Upward Soccer jersey
- Upward Soccer car magnet
- End-of-Season Award
How do I get signed up?
Sign up now online or you may pick up information at any Welcome Center or the Church Office. If you choose to sign up at Crossroads, you may download the form right here CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD. Once you have completed the form, turn it in with payment to any Welcome Center or the Church Office. Don’t forget, sizing and evaluations DO NOT need to be filled out when you turn in your registration.
